Nice, very talented! I have a new appreciation for photography since rejoining this site, you are one of many talented photographers! Very nice work.

Personally I have mastered the talent of photographing my thumb!?!

well to me...i like the bw one better...it's simple it gets the idea across...it has this mood of intimacy in it...the background being blurred adds to the focused subject...the embracing of the subject and how it works so well with the tone makes the image radiates something more than just an image....for the emulsion version...sure it has a cool effect, but then you lost everything that's in the bw which was intimacy and the focusing on the subject...the background distracted too much from the essential point of the image...the texture also drives the viewer away from the subject...then it seems the subject is not that important anymore...it's just a part of the image...there's no hierarchy w/in it...and it looks like a painting...

I always thought that cake toppers were these silly looking little plastic doodads that just made a nice cake look..stupid. This isn't so bad. It is actually very cool...and this is a lovely shot of it. ^_^

Yeah they have some really cool contemporary ones available. This one is sitting on top of our mantle now 2 tears after the wedding, so it didn't go to waste.
